Intro

This is an experiment that involves using sounds and movement. By using the movement as an input from a person, we generate output in the form of sounds. This allows the user to recognize the feedback. We explored various ideas and created tangible structures.

Process

Brainstroming

We began from brainstorming ideas about strucuture where if someone tries to interact with an item, sounds turns on as feedback. We selected the fourth idea ‘Safety Alarm’. If someone attempt to open the bag with ill intend, the keyring emits a warning sound.

This way, we can detect if someone is trying to touch our bag and keep our belongings safe.

01 Stress Doll) We are in stressful cased by a lot of assignment, so we could relase our stres by puch the doll.

03 Car accident) The car sensing the shock, the alert sounds on.

Select input sensor : Flex Sensor

We Selected the flex sensor to detect the status of bag, whether it’s open or closed. We believed we can detact it when the bag is being opened, by sensoring the bending of the sensor.
